Think you would get more interest and even an answer by asking on the dedicated thread.

If the Computer's sound in missing in Control Panel, then it is not a KODI fault.
Let us check some silly things first...
* Are speakers working okay?
* Is volume turned up on speakers?
* Maybe test speakers out on your mobile phone \ MP3 player \ Walkman.
* Are speakers still correctly connected to the PC?
* On the PC, check the audio icon down by the clock - does it look normal or is there a cross on it?
* Double click that icon and check if the volume here is a sensible level.
* Check on this same control that there is no tick in the MUTE options.
* Now to control panel in Windows. Pick the SOUND control panel.
* What is listed on the PLAYBACK page?
* Where is the Green Tick (the default device)?
* Press the Configure button and make sure the speakers are set correctly in here.
If none of that works, I have other tangents to test. Once the PC has audio again, then KODI will be able to use it.

@ BatterPudding
I do not have external speakers , only tv speakers
The PC's sound is not muted
Finally the next day , the sound came back
I did not correct anything
Strange things
I thank all of you for your attention ...............
