I'm currently testing a RK3368 box and experienced a weird issue on Kodi 15.2 RC downloaded from Google Play. I'm not experiencing it on Kodi 15.1 downloaded from the official site.

Kodi seems to be detecting the refresh rate to only be 11Hz according to System Info.

This means the whole UI is super laggy, but strangely the RSS feed at the bottom is super fast and animates smoothly.

Anyone know what's going on?

Try the real v15.2 rc from the download page. The one from Google Play is actually 15.1.1, but has the wrong splash screen.

What's odd is that the 15.1.1 downloaded from the site worked fine but the one from Google Play had the issue.

I'm experiencing the same issue and reported it here http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=237315, but nobody seems to care about this.

The problem is here: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master...d.cpp#L138. currentRefreshRate() does not returns a correct value for the refresh rate.

AFAIK, the code in Kodi is OK, but either window.getAttributes().getpreferredRefreshRate() or display.getRefreshRate() fail.

Latest nightlies showing 11 fps in Kodi J on RK3368 box.
Hope it will be fixed.
