Good luck with the new job / project.

yes

Sorry about this. On the other hand I did't even know that he existed 2 weeks ago.

There is a language barrier with aracnoz. I'm certain that caused a lot of confusion and frustration -- probably a lot of frustration on his part. He can provide a lot from a development standpoint, but he has been very dedicated to DSPlayer alone.

...Sorry to interject again, DSPlayer users don't need to throw eggs. I posted in here about respect.

Are you going to develop madvr/mpv similar features inside the new player?
I know you are busy with low arm/android devices but I hope you'll implement jinc scaler at least.

Any plans to reuse any of this to make the new player FFmpeg independent? And maybe also add GStreamer support?

lol, the GStreamer crap can stay where it is. Kodi wil continue with ffmpeg.

GStreamer 'stuff' was not trivial to do. It was only there because requirements from Sigma. FFMpeg could be present but it had to be via GStreamer.

"crap" was referring to GStreamer in general not the XBMC/Kodi work that used it.

Would be nice if there was a shortlist of what doesnt work or known not to work, I just compiled a build from tonight at e6144a3b and ran as portable mode in linux and found a few things wrong.
I guess what Im saying is, there's not much point on me wasting my time and others time reporting issues that are already known at this stage.

Would also help to know if theres specific things that would be nice good to test.

So there's no known issues or things to test or look out for?

You could test DVD menus and playback using my master branch. There may be some issues left to resolve.

If i may ask..
I've read videoplayer rework is planned for kodi k+++++
I also read maybe even independant from ffmpeg etc
My question now is, if it may happen kodi will be able to do 3d iso mvc with new videoplayer?
I know its early to ask, but just is it possible or absolutely not?
