Win Live TV Feezes/Slow to Delete files on Back End
#1
Has anyone recently noticed any freezing when you are play live tv? Only happens on live tv, all other recordings play fine.
Plus, to delete a file is really slow on the back end.

Here is my log file, the problem happened on 9/8/15 at 10:04 PM

Did you adjust the buffer delay settings for live and active recordings in the settings file? Deleting recordings is always slow for me

No I have not made any buffer settings.....any suggestions on what the setting should be set at? All my channels are HD. Happy to try your suggested settings and where to make the changes.

Where is my advance setting would I make the change?

BufferDelayLiveMS and BufferDelayActiveRecMS

I think I have mine set to 5000

It wasn't in the wiki, it was in the thread "the complete guide: xmbc - Kodi/windows media center/serverWMC and more"

Note: this was only supposed to help with the skipping. Not sure about slow backend deleting files. Mine has always been slow

OK...where would I find BufferDelayLiveMS?

In the settings file that you posted. There are a bunch more settings that seemed to be omitted from your copy/paste.

If you don't see them perhaps your file got corrupt

Can one of you guys post your serverwmc log after you try to delete a file? Thanks.

Edit:
Actually before you do that, please go into your settings file and set Debug_LogGetRecordings to true. Save the file. Then restart swmc. Then delete a file and post the log.

I will do this tomorrow.

Side note on the original post regarding l live TV freezes. It turns out my issues we caused by refresh settings in the settings-->video-->playback section.

Changing adjust display to match fresh rate to always and setting sync playback to display solved all my issues with watching live or active recordings.

I was able to set the buffers I previously mentioned to 1000 instead of 10000
