yes but i have frequent black screen but i'm not able to reproduce it

(sometimes few seconds after a film start, sometime when i stop a film or change from a 24p film to 60)

it's handshake problem cause if when the problrm occurs i switch on the avr signal returns and stay also if i switch off

but i can't make a log until i understand how to get that error

@Milhouse - tested your prior October 25th build last evening and as said earlier, everything behaved very nicely.

The only issue I have found so far (which I cannot say if it is specific to your build or otherwise) is that I cannot passthrough bitstream-ed highdef formats (DTS-HD-MA, TrueHD). I configured the system to allow passthrough of these formats, but playback of any media with these audio formats results in no output. If I disable the passthrough and let OE decode then I get sound.

I am not sure if this is to be expected or if this is something to do with the skylake hardware. I did not find a good thread about this yet (most threads I found discuss the handling of these formats on RPi, not intel). I will dig around a bit more, but thought I would ask in case anybody has any quick pointers.

No my fault, hd tracks doesn't works also for me

dts hd= normal dts

sorry but in italian we have few hd tracks so i use it rarely

DTS HD-MA and TrueHD passthrough is working normally on Nvidia_Legacy (ie. bitstreaming, correct lamp lights up on AVR etc.), so presumably this is a Skylake kernel or driver issue rather than something more general.

As per request, please can you supply a debug log - hopefully it will show something.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

No bitstream passthrough works as it should on Intel hw. The known issue is the Viz, which is linked wrongly.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Kodi start, i changed audio profile to avr profile

played first file and selected dts hd ma eng track but result is normal dts

stopped

Played second file and selected dts ma eng track but result is normal dts

Stopped it and i get black screen

Switch off avr and i get again kodi

So with one log i hope to have caught two problem
