Am still seeing that i can't download themes, and once changed from a theme you can't change back, it will stay on Confluence and refuse to change, the log says about not being able to find certain xml files.

So is this broken at the moment or should it work?

Regards,

Simon

Your third-party skins are broken, Kodi is fine. Hardly any third-party skins support the latest 5.11.0 xbmc.gui API - contact the third-party skin authors for an update.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.
I have 3k songs in the kodi library. When I go to music/songs and select some track to play kodi gets stuck for some seconds (about 10-20 in this case) and then starts playing. I've found that that during this time it creates a playlist containing all my songs.

The log looks like this:
Code:
23:00:13 T:139706555807808   DEBUG: LIRC: Update - NEW at 7816707:1c 0 KEY_ENTER devinput (KEY_ENTER)

23:00:13 T:139706555807808   DEBUG: GOT ANNOUNCEMENT, type: 2, from xbmc, message OnAdd

And a lot of these announcement lines goes next. Then playing

Thanks all, i did try searching but didn't find anything! is it worth putting this info in the first post?
The queuing of all songs when playing a song from the songs category is quite normal. Not ideal in most circumstances, but normal. Just play from albums or some other category that has a smaller selection of songs that will then be queued.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

Not at the moment - I've already said in the first post to test with Confluence, and to raise third party skin issues with the skin maintainer.

Oh. 20 secs for 3k items sounds slow though. What about adding an option to disable queueing or limit it by a number of items?

You really should have some understanding of what using nightlies entails before using them as things can, and will, break. Wink

Are you using a smartphone remote?

Suggest it as a Feature Request.

Thank you very much for providing us with these bleeding edge testing builds.

I only have one problem: Since build #1121 my systems do not shutdown and reboot correctly. This is the same for the RPi2.
The system just keeps hanging saying "[ OK ] Reached target shutdown." Shutdown procedures have been working fine in build #1119.

As far as I can remember, there was a similar problem with the RPi builds before that had been fixed.
I did not provide any kodi logs as I think this is unrelated. If you need logs or further information I will be happy to provide it.

Hopefully this is now fixed for good in #0203, can you test this build and confirm.

Sorry for taking so long to test / answer. I have been really busy at work lately.
I have updated to build #0214 and the system still hangs on shutdown / reboot occasionally. It seems to occur even more often now.

Is your fix only included in #0203? I'll downgrade to that one and test in a minute.

Thanks a lot for your support!
No, it's also in #0214. I've not been able to reproduce reboot problems since the fix so if you still have problems maybe it's unrelated and you'll need to identify the cause.

is there meanwhile a solution for proper (smooth) playback of 25FPS source while passthrough is activated?
