I have the problem everybody have : Kodi hangs on exit.
As my Raspberry is most a torrent box rather than a media center, I've looked for different lauch scripts, stuff, etc to exit Kodi properly, without have to restart Rasp. Nothing works.
And I have found a way :
I go to the desktop on a Win7 computer via TightVNCserver, lauch the terminal and type
Then, as the screen goes black on my tv, I type a simple (still on the Windows computer)
It give me an error, but then I exit the terminal and tadaaaaa Rasp returns to desktop, without a reboot.
As a Linux noob, I don't know if it's reliable, but it works.
I hope it may help someone.
