When changing channels (zapping) the picture will freeze until the next channel clears. Is it possible to display a blank/black screen from the moment you press the button to change channel, until the next channel opens? Even if our backend is rapid as zapping it will look alot less clunky than it is now.

Enigma2 recievers, dreamboxes ect, and Vdr distro all display a black screen between the switch rather than just freezing the previous picture.

Can this be done at a skinning level or some kind of advanced setting?

If this is already possible please let me know.

Is it just me or has this been added to the recent Jarvis nightlies? Or perhaps I've toggled a setting without knowing?

The video below of the Wetek Play displays a black screen on the channel switch, so why doesn't x64 systems do the same, rather than just freezing the picture until the next channel opens? Displaying a black screen on the switch looks alot better than glitching to the next channel as it does on x64 systems.
