v15 digital bypass issue

When I use to play an mkv movies on my lexicon receiver it use to display DTS 5.1 or DD 5.1, however since updateing to KODI and window 10 I no longer get the DTS and DD display on my reciver. I have tried to change seting in the audio menu but does not work. if I play the same movie using VLC player it works.
I like kodi and do not want to loses it please someone help

Plenty of help available in the Audio wiki entry to start you off. Might just be that the settings reverted to DirectSound from WASAPI.
