kodi novice here. sorry if this is a dumb question but i haven't had any luck finding an answer to it

it looks like i need includespvr.xml but, what directory does that file go in?

i found some recording preferences (they were just in a different place than the wiki instructions). however, there isn't the option to set things like first run only, etc. any info on that?
