Nvidia Shield or the new Fire TV
#1
So looking for something to play movies on my other tv's. I have Kodi, obviously otherwise I wouldn't be here, but I also have Netflix and Amazon instant video. I noticed that the Nvidia Shield comes with the Kodi app installed but the fire tv doesn't. The NS doesn't have Amazon instant video but the fire tv does. Also when it comes to skins and add one like extended info and video extras can I personalize Kodi on those devices or am I stuck with the default skin?

Shield TV does not come w/Kodi installed, but it's officially available to install. You can sideload Kodi on Fire TV fairly easily. You're not stuck with default skin on either.

Amazon Prime/Instant is obviously nicely integrated into FTV, but you can also get it on Shield via Kodi using this add-on. But, if Prime is important to you, you may be better off with FTV.
