I have been trying to get help for months with this issue. Kodi will not work in my network except on the localhost. I have no added an hdhomerun and still get the same issue. WMC is streaming through the network but there I cant get a guide to work. NextPVR software works but I prefer kodi's interface.

I have the old log which is where it worked as local host, and the log which is where I changed it to ip of server.

Can someone please help me the new prime time season is starting and the wife is wanting to go back to cable or sat for dvr features.

Assuming you've setup NextPVR, and can watch live tv there....

First check the web server is running. ie, on your machine with NextPVR installed, open a web browser and enter the url http://127.0.0.1:8866 and tell us if you see the NextPVR web server home page. If not, we'll need to help you work out why the webserver isn't running.

I think it's working when I put in my ip address and port I get the newa guide. Yes it works fine in NextPVR just not in KODI.

If you do that browser test from another machine on your network, do you get the NEWA guide again? If not, but you did when you tried it on the local host, then it is most likely pointing to the firewall software on your PC blocking access to the NEWA port.

If NEWA is fine from that other machine, then you'll probably need to supply the kodi.log again, but with debug logging enabled in Kodi.

I can see it's actually connecting fine, and pulling in the lists of channels etc. I thought you were failing at these early steps. It looks like your problem when you try to watch a channel?

Can you restart the NextPVR recording service (to reset the logs), then try watching a channel, then zip and supply your c:\users\public\npvr\logs directory.

I have restarted NextPVR and copied the log directory as well as KODI's new log in to the zip file with todays date.

It looks like you're trying to access NextPVR over the internet?

By default it doesn't allow requests from outside of the local LAN. You can edit the config.xml though, to set the following to enable it.

<AllowRemoteAPI>true</AllowRemoteAPI>

The log you supplied looks like it's getting the request from 56.56.56.11, which isn't an IP address typically used on a LAN.
