Hi,

I have been reading up on the new epg-based series timers that are being introduced in Kodi v16.

I was wondering whether there are any plans to add support for the new epg-based series timers to the pvr.vbox addon?

If so, then I would be more than happy to act as a beta tester and feedback my findings.

I have already upgraded to one of the v16 nightly dev builds, and installed the latest pvr.vbox addon by compiling v2.1.4 from github, so wouldn't need any hand-holding on compiling the addon directly from the source

I've added an issue about it on Github but I haven't started working on this yet. I'm the only developer of this addon and I don't even use it so the development pace is kind of slow. I have e-mailed VBox Communications and asked if they could allocate some resources within the company to maintain the addon.

Thanks for the update.

All the work you put in is very much appreciated by me and the rest of the community.

I can't wait for this enhancement to land, and will keep my eye out in github etc.

Guess I'll just have to be patient
