I did everything stated here:

http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Kodi_for_Linux

When I type the command:
sudo apt-get install kodi

It says:

E: Unable to locate package kodi

Have a look at the output of sudo apt-cache policy kodi and sudo apt-cache policy xbmc and check that your repository definitions are correct (/etc/sources.list).

I suspect one of:

1. The repo name is incorrect, and it's looking for the Mint distro name (Olivia) and not the base Ubuntu name (Raring), or

2. Your Mint version is simply too old (it's based on Raring Ringtail/Ubuntu 13.04, which is no longer supported) and no installation candidate is available as a result

Maybe you should upgrade your Linux Mint as 15 is obsolete since January 2014...

I would switch to 17 as I dont have problems with installing Kodi the way it's mentioned in the Wiki you linked.
