Hey all,
I've created a useful Azureus plugin that pops up a little notification window on XBMC when a torrent finishes.



I plan on eventually adding alot of scripting abilities to this but its pretty handy right now. Get it here:

To add:
Download file
Open up Azureus
Click Plugins ->Installation Wizard... at the top
Click By File and open it, ignore the warning of it not an official Azureus plugin

The options are in Tools->Options->Plugins->Download Scripter

Hi Asteron,

Thats a nice little plugin. How difficult would it be to enable it for multiple xbox ips..

I wrote a Torrent-Controller script some time ago which worked for azureus. Im in the process of updating it for the newer release of guibuilder.

My script however is just a plain html scraper for Azureus so can fail on different versions of Azureus. Do you know how difficult it would be to write a/your plugin with the ability to send queue information via a socket. The ABC Torrent software does this and it makes getting queue stats information very easy.
This feature would be superb...

Ok, got a question now. How does one send alerts (Notifications) to XBMC?

Can it be done with the httpapi? I have been googleing around half an hour now looking for a way and I can't find it.

I want to maybe make growl ( http://growl.info ) send Notifications to XBMC.

Glad you like it. To send a notification the webserver has to be on. Then open this URL

http://<xboxip>/xbmcCmds/xbmcHttp?command=ExecBuiltIn&parameter=Notification(WARNING,SHUTTING%20DOWN%20SYSTEM!)

remove the space and put in your xbox IP
Check out the HTTPAPI for other commands
