My Kodi on Xbian freezes a couple of times every minute when watching some streamed videos.
I have put a log file that should have a few of those on

I turned on debug and tried to paste another log but it was too big so I edited it by removing the beginning and main part, only keeping the last part.

First thing, I will try and turn off the screensaver.

I have turned of the screensaver and made the 3 changes in the advancedsettings.xml that is suggested in
http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Modify_the_video_cache
but is does no difference at all.
Is it my network that is to slow? If so can I choose a lower resolution to solve it?

I tested the same Vimeo video on my laptop and it also freezes but Ican see that the buffering is way ahead of the play indicator.

I am at work now and tested the video here and that seems to work.
I can't take my laptop here and try but I can take my work-laptop home and test.

It sounds like your home internet is too slow, and your work internet is faster.
You might want to run speedtest on home and work and see how they compare.

I have tested with my laptop from work (Windows 7) and it was very interesting though it was not the answer I wanted.
Yes the internet is to slow.
It was very interesting to see the buffering before it started the video and then the race between the buffered video and the played video until the end when the buffered video was almost caught by the played.
So now I know that I need more bandwidth.

well I already know that they are paying for a lot more bandwidth at work than I am.

I now have better internet (8Gbit) and the streaming is working a lot better!
