I highly recommend against any of those videos, none is anywhere near as clear, concise, or accurate as the written instructions in the ChromeBox EZ Setup thread. Lon's in particular skips a critical step required for a working dual boot setup

Yes sir! you are right, sorry I was not that clear, I meant it in a way to watch it so you will see it is not that difficult but yes, always follow the official procedure.

I have tried at least 10 different Chinese kodi boxes, honestly i have no experience with amazon fire tv, but I have used apple tv a lot too
among all the boxes i loved my zoomtak t8 plus, it comes with atomatic add-on updater and it is rooted! I am a linux guy, so I installed busybox and ssh into the box and keep hacking
It has the high end amlogic s812 cpu, but i like its really high speed, also my box is far from my wifi router. I did have weak signal issue on my other boxes, but this box has an external antenna that really works
They do have a US distributor, google them

I have the wetek core and I love it. I just got the wetek play2. Its great, I just need to learn how to use the new features as I am a noob with Kodi all I know is how to use addons or netflix. I wish I knew how to setup a home library or the PVR or IPTV features.

I hooked it up to my cable box and nothong happened because I have no idea what I am doing.

But yeah, wetek is great and stick to boxes with 24/7 tech support and warranty with online updates.
