Kodibuntu removed Kodi after dist-upgrade
#1
Hello all,

I installed Kodibuntu last night and went to update it. I eventually ran sudo apt-get dist-upgrade. After a very long time (old computer), it finished and I rebooted. When it brought me to the login screen, the option to start Kodi was gone. I logged into Lubuntu and saw Kodi had been completely removed.

Does that mean I should never to a dist-upgradeHuh

Thanks,

Scott

You have to. No way round to get a newer version. Just do a

Code:
sudo apt-get install kodi

And everything should be fine

That was too simple. I didn't think that would replace the login screen Kodi option and automatic start.

Thanks!
