Video stutter streaming local video
#1
I'm running an Ubuntu machine with plex media server on it, NFS v4 is also installed and configured to share my media. I am streaming movies and music to my Pi 2 with KODI (Isengard) on it and all the plex add-ons (plexbmc, helper), and I get intermittent stutter in my playback. When streaming, I go to videos>add-ons>plexbmc and then the media file...

I have a USB 3 ethernet dongle - (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FFJ0...ge_o03_s00), to help overcome any bandwidth issues with the Pi's native ethernet and my network is all wired.... I have not run any network tests .

Any suggestions? It seems to happen more often on more intense movie scenes, which leads me to believe its a bottleneck in my Linux box, but my hardware is a Core i7, 16 GB of RAM, wd 4 GB HDD; I'm playing with my NFS options to see if that helps, specifically rsize and wsize, but I need to make sure that my Pi or PLEX isn't the problem. My music does not stutter, ever.

Ideas?
thx for any help....
