Hello,
I got a problem (okay, my wife :-) ), is it anyhow possible that i can only use the Live-TV Guide (which is located in the submenu) for the main Button "Live-TV" when I press it, it usually jumps to the Channel List and i want it to jump to the TV-Guide.
Does anybody know how to change this?

Are you using one of my mods of MQ5? If so, which Kodi version? There is a little bit of a naming problem too: in the skin there is support for the add-on known as "tv-guide". This is not the same thing as the live TV (aka PVR) "EPG" (program guide that you get from a PVR client). I need to know exactly what you refer to. Also, things changed from Gotham / ver 13. If you had Aeon MQ5 installed in Gotham and upgraded to Helix or Isengard, the menus changed, but your original Gotham settings aren't changed. So that can be a problem. It can also help if you upload a debug log (wiki) (when you are attempting to select the menu) to pastebin or xbmclogs so I can take a look.

This is definitely possible. I had exactly the same thing using the Aeon Maddox Skin, so I changed the command quite easily. Your skin should have the ability somewhere to customise the main menu items. For instance, in Aeon Maddox this option is located in: System>>>Apearance>>>Skin Settings>>>Main menu customizer (under the Customizer button). Then its a case of moving along to your Live TV icon, selecting enter and you should get a dialog box, very similar to the one below:-



Select the Choose Type button, then the custom option and enter this code:-



This will now activate your epg screen, when pressing the liveTv option on your home menu

Kodi changed the windows starting with version 14 (Helix). If your skin was made for Gotham the old menus and windows will not function correctly. I have mods of Aeon MQ5 designed to work in Helix (here) Aeon MQ5 Helixmod
Isengard (here) Aeon MQ5 Isengardmod
and Jarvis (here- note this is an alpha build) Aeon MQ5 Jarvismod

If you have the Gotham version of Aeon MQ5 installed (shows as 2.0.2 gotham) you can install the needed mod version and it will leave your original skin alone, but the settings are shared. The best way to fix the live TV menu is to use the "customize main menu" feature and assign "TV" as the menu.



Repeat for any submenus you use with live TV
