Hi All

I have set one of the homescreen items to be the "Animation" genre from my movies list. I like having random fanart as background for the movies item, but is it possible to set the home menu background for the "animation" item to only be random fanart from the films in the animation genre? Would be better if it can be set through the skin and not the configs.

Xou can define a playlist for movies in a special path and the genre animation for xmpl.

In aeon settings you can link the background to your playlist

This can be done easily. My movies are in folders organized by types or genres, such as "Animation". I created smart playlists for each genre, and have the homescreen menu items point to those smart playlists. The smart playlists generate background art files specific to the playlist, and those files can be set to be the backgrounds for each homescreen item.
