how do i change the setting from channel listing to channel number when i switch the channel?

I'm not sure what you mean. A little more of a problem description is needed - at least for me.

right now, when i try to change the channel, i have to press the channel list and not the channel number.
for example, i press 4 for standard abc then if i press 2004 it is suppose to be abc hd but it is not. it is different channel.
