I have just set up my first rpi B model running openelec Kodi. I have used a nano USB WiFi adapter and noticed I am getting some buffer. The rpi is some distance from the router with a couple of walls in the way. Would I be better off getting a high gain wifi adapter with an Arial.

Any recommendations very welcome.

Wired ethernet or powerline (ethernet over mains) would probably be better options.
