i figured out why it was not working for me.......but holy cow
take it easy....... there is a lot more crap going on the in world to be pissed about then a
a little user asking if a video addon is or isn't work
simple questions sometimes just need a little direction or spoon feeding
if these piddly questions tend to piss you off, perhaps you need to take some time out from this and let the stress out
really............ answering in such a fashion does not help your forum

you offer a FORUM to DISCUSS issues people are having
if this is not a forum for discuss and simply ask a question and get you head bit off gathering......don't offer readers the option to post
make us all forced to read

let us discuss and ask......
if its in violation, move it/close it with a reason
if its in the wrong forum, move it with a prefabricated script indicatign why it was moved so the user can see why
if its a legit question, and its been asked 14 pages deep, then gently ask them to search around first and/or direct them to the curent thread already discussing it

Because the addon author probably doesn't care to read the entire forum. Asking in the correct thread will at least get his attention.
This is considered common practise around here
