IR receiver bracket or case designed for it?
#1
My Pi2 is in a basic small case and my Flirc IR receiver is hanging off a USB port. It works fine, but I' don't like having the flashing LED of the ethernet port facing outward.

I'm wondering what others are doing for this? Any good USB extension brackets? Maybe a case more optimized for media center usage that have the IR oriented a different direction?

Piece of duct tape over the LEDs?

Or possibly a short USB extension cable, possibly secured by a similar piece of duct tape?

Yes I am an engineer, hence the belief that duct tape can fix anything Smile

Yes, that would be a solution.. But, I've been trying to optimize my home theater environment and remove as many cables as possible. So, I'm looking for something a bit more elegant. I just noticed Flirc has their own forum.. that may be a better pplce to ask. I'll check that out.
