I got few critical errors regarding the last updates of the skin helper addons (Widgets, Backgrounds...)

I can't provide support for those logs as there are banned addons in there.
Remove them before you ask support here. here is a very strict policy about that.

As for the issue, I suspect that you need to restart Kodi

Do you have both movies and tvshows scraped to your library ? If so, the global fanart option MUST show up.
If not, there must be some kind of error in your log.

You can't manually refresh it, that happens in the background

But currently I have errors (As I wrote above), so I can't open it now at all.

However, I have now lost the ability to select the random pvr recordings background. It was there when I first installed the beta and I selected it, but it never would show the background. Thought I would give it time, even tried exiting spmc and waiting again when I relaunched spmc. Now I don't even have the option to select it.

Also I've noticed that there is a delay after a fresh launch of spmc before I can see any of the playlist options when setting backgrounds and thumbnails. Is there something I can manually run to get these to show up in the menu?

It should be called "Random PVR Background", I believe it was renamed a few weeks back.
As for the second issue that it takes some time before they're available, I will fix this in the next update.

Yes, I know it's called Random PVR Background and I have it selected. Problem is the fanart will not always display for the thumbnail or background. When that happens the option to select Random PVR Background is gone. WHen it does display, some of them are blank.

This is on my Nvidia Shield TV running SPMC 16.5.5. I did a test on a windows box to get access to the log easily. Here is a section of the log showing the pvr fanart not being found but it is actually there. However, the log shows it is looking for a folder but it isn't a folder, it's actually a jpg image stored without the extension.

After all the last updates, I checked again and it's the same, in the Global Background I have only these:
- Use Default skin background
- Random movies background
- Recent movies background
- Unwatched movies background
- Random Tv Shows background
- In progress Tv Shows background
- Recent episodes background
- Top Rated Movies (extendedinfo)
- Top Rated tvshows (extendedinfo)
... and list of jpg images

Bug since the last updates of skin helper regarding the shortcut editor.
Set background from widget fanart doesn't work when standing on the main item, it does work only when standing on the widget.
(Only one widget exist, SingleBox)

In other menu item, I have few widgets together, and set the background from widget2 and it works good.

So maybe the problem is with "Set background as widget" when you have only one widget.

I'm more of a stable release guy but I decided to try the beta last night to see what was new. Mostly everything went well. Couple of issues I had though:

1) Clicking on "Background" in shortcut editor did nothing. A dialog to make changes never even opened
2) Clicking on the studio images, genre icon, etc sections under general settings did nothing. A dialog to make changes did not open
3) When going into library views, I am missing network/studio logos, IMDB rank (IMBD rating is showing), metacritic and rotten tomatoes ratings

b) Why when choosing "Widget rows: Single Widget Large" the squares/landscapes items are arranged in columns and not by rows as before? Where can I change it to be by rows as before?

c) Where can I set the alignment of the widgets? (To the left/right) because it was to the right and now it's to the left.

d) I see you change the tags info title on the widgets, is there any settings to configure their content? (Like add date etc... instead episode name)

e) It seems that you expanded the gap between the widgets or increased the widget size. So in some menu items there is now vertical scroll bar which isn't looking nice. ("Widget rows: Multiple Widgets" )

f) Set background as widget fanart for main menu item - doesn't work.
(Checked with Single Box widget, as single widget or as widget number 2 in multiple widgets)

g) It seems that the single box design has changed, so there is no gap between the info text to the frame of the widget.

Also some fanarts are not presented when standing on the widget while inside the library they are presented.

I'm on Netflix view 2 beta jarvis skin....how do I get the large thumbnail on the home screen to rotate images like they use to before this update....
Before....I highlight a movie and it would rotate different images for that movie.......Home screen

I must say well done with the new updates ! the netflix style homemenu layout 2 is working fine no problems there ,but the the normal netflix style homemenu layout is a bit of a mesh, play and the info button are not showing and the media flags are there but under the wigets so this is a bit out of sync but never the less great job looking forward to the next update !!!

And that exactly is your issue. Make sure that the images have a valid file extension.

Sounds like you didn't use my beta repo to install the beta skin.

Try to set the widget layout to single row to see if that helps.

Skin setings --> homescreen layout --> align widgets to the right.

Not yet but I'm working on that. It will be configurable in next release version so after the current version is released to stable.

Correct, it will be fixed again but it will no longer be possible to specify for which widget.
