I noticed from the logs it says "Permission denied". I am using the Administrator account to authenticate from Kodi and this user has full permission to the folder in Windows.

Can you try smb://ipaddress/sharename
Can't mount shares to FTV without root access.

I figured out the issue. My username needed a prefix before it either with <DomainName>\<username> or LocalUser\<username> for it to work.

Lots of people have SMB share issues; did you add the prefix to the username in Kodi or into the actual address like cd2022 posted?
