This company has DVB-C tuners which might be of interest:

It seems that they integrated drivers in this android box:

TBS have a patchy history with Linux drivers - though there are now some alternative drivers for DVB-S/S2 tuners. I've run their DVB-S2 tuners for years in Windows boxes and they've been reliable though.

The Matrix PC didn't really take off - bit long in the tooth now.

I use this - has in kernel drivers, just needs a firmware file: http://www.amazon.de/Edision-Optimuss-DV...B00TPQU7DU
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

If you use a Kodi based Linux distro like OpenELEC, OSMC, or EmbER then they already include drivers and firmware for many tv-tuner adapters.

And if they do not include drivers and firmware for your specfic device send them a request and they will most likley add them.

Nice for eveyone using those ditros when drivers and firmware for all popular tv-tuners controller already already prepackaged and included.
