When I launch the application it brings me to this page that is severely blown up out of proportion. It has huge ip tv at top and then says to install please make sure your have Lodi installed then please select box for device and install instructions and it shows setup for mobile tablets and to right it says setup android TV box. Neither are selectable and I can go nowhere from that screen

Are you sure you installed the official Kodi apk?

The program will help you sideload it and everything (even go so far as to go get the fire for you).
