^ If we can get linux onto this, this would seem to make a great HTPC for KODI. What do you guys think?

Not sure how well Rockchip SoCs (which is what is in the CS10) are supported with decent Open Source video drivers...

What information are you basing that on?

As of lollipop onwards, Android has evolved to become a decent OS for media player like Kodi with built-in api's.

Rockchip has just decided to ignore the android api's and go with sub-par custom hacks.

My current advice: avoid Rockchip at all costs for Kodi.

Well, that was my opinion re RK and Android.

If linux can be made to work on this stick, that's an entirely different story. If so, I'd totally be interested myself, considering the price...

Honestly anything without ethernet I just feel is a gamble for a good Kodi experience...
