I'm not a techie, so please use laymans terms 
I'm trying to use KODI as a UPNP server so I can stream files from KODI to my Roku. I've been told I can use the Roku Media Player to discover Kodi's UPNP server. However, the UPNP server through Kodi doesn't seem to be working.
I have the "share my libraries" box ticked in the Settings/Services menu. I also have a Plex UPNP server running. When I open up the Roku Media Player on my Roku 3, I see the Plex server, but I don't see the KODI server.
It doesn't just appear to be an issue with the Roku either. When I open up ArkMC Lite on my iPhone (a DLNA/UPNP app), it can see the Plex media server just fine, but it doesn't find any KODI media server. I am running Windows Vista.
Please tell me how come none of my devices (including my Roku) can find the KODI media server. Please help. Thanks!
