ERROR: SQL: The database disk image is malformed
#1
I'm using 14.2 on an Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS box. When I go to update the meta data on a new video file it looks up 'themoviedb.org', finds the data, I click on the correct entry and it displays an error 'No info found!'.

In the log file I get the following issue;

Code:
10:02:55 T:2872183616   ERROR: SQL: The database disk image is malformed
                                            Query: DELETE FROM epgtags  WHERE iEndTime < 1447887775
10:02:55 T:2872183616   ERROR: ExecuteQuery - failed to execute query 'DELETE FROM epgtags  WHERE iEndTime < 1447887775'

This machine is a server for multiple thin clients and I've set it up using mysql for the database instead of sqlite. It has been working away for a year or two without this issue.

What I've tried so far;
- Cleaning the database through kodi
- swapping the movie scrapper to the universal movie scrapper, same problem, so I swapped it back to themoviedb.org

14.2 is out of support as is the moviedb plugin version in 14.2
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I'm upgraded to 15.2 and I'm getting the same error

This typical response is precisely the reason why I am opposed to 2 major updates per year of Kodi!

as posted in another thread ....Please see

If we had one release per year you would already run 15.2 - so 14.2 would be gone in any way ...

Here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Release_ea...ease_often - our dear users refuse to test beta / rc version ...

seem like an error in the PVR database file. Drop the epg** table from your mysql or the local database in your userdata folder

I've dropped the epg table and when starting kodi it recreates the epg10.db file, and I still get the same error. This time it's even worse because the TV plugin will not load at all.
