I have my programs organized by folder. Within one folder, there are seven episodes of the same show.
Four of them show the correct icon, but the other four show an icon for a completely different (and incorrect) show.
I tried resetting the PVR database, but the problem persists.
Where does ServerWMC store icons for TV shows episodes?
Is there an easy way for me to delete them and then force ServerWMC to get them again?
Also, when I'm looking at the main list of shows (which mostly shows folders of multiple shows), the icon next to the folder name is just a generic blue file folder. Is there any way to get the program show to show up there, i.e.
Supergirl (6)
Quantico (10)
Both just show a blue icon.

What versions are you running? I believe the images are coming from windows media center. Do they display correctly in WMC

I think you're mistaken. The images do not appear to come from Window Media Center.
Windows Media Center uses screen grabs from the video files. Kodi shows the same image for every show (usually with the name of the show written on it).
I'm using Windows 7 MCE with Kodi 14.2 (via OpenELEC 5.0.8) and the latest release version of ServerWMC.

First, there is no current way for us to set an icon for the group folder :-( Maybe in Kodi 16, I haven't tried it...
The image Kodi displays for each recording is actually from a url provided by Windows media center. Many of mine are also incorrect but I haven't found a way to reset the guide data which I'm hoping will fix the incorrect image issue. I think that may help your situation as well.

Should have also mentioned:
you're right that wmc displays screen captures for the individual episodes. But in wmc if you right click on a recording and choose 'program details' you'll see the epg program image that skarragallagher is referring to (the same one swmc uses). Also these are the same images that are displayed in the wmc guide when you select a show. Using this method you can see if wmc is showing the correct image or the wrong one for your problem recordings.

Yet another thought:
In the settings of swmc you can set it so that it logs the responses swmc sends back to kodi when kodi requests recordings. To do this, change the LogRequestFull to the following:
<LogRequestFull>GetRecordings</LogRequestFull>
Then after kodi starts and has finished getting data from serverwmc, look in the log file for the following:
2015/11/21 10:40:29.877 GetRecordings Reply 01/03: 10977524117436436| ...
2015/11/21 10:40:29.877 GetRecordings Reply 02/03: 10977524116998587| ...
...
Each one of the replies above corresponds to the data sent for each recording (each field is separated by the '|' char). Search for the problem recordings and look at the first field that starts with http, these are the image urls. See if the show has different urls.

Thanks for all of the suggestions.
I'm not keen to delete my WMC database and then have to re-set all of my timers again, so that option is off the table for now.
I'll do a bit more experimentation and if I find anything useful, I'll post the results here.
Typically, I either watch and delete a show, or move it over to a NAS and let Kodi index it as a TV Show. Once I do that, WMC/ServerWMC is not part of the system anymore, and the icons are all done my Kodi and thetvdb.com.
