Download Kodi from: http://kodi.tv/download/ and it should work on El Capitan. Failing that you may have downloaded something recently that is clashing with it.

Thank you for the reply my friend!

I tried it but I am still having issues with Kodi crashing when I try to start it. It was working fine a few days ago. I was attempting to do a full backup using the USB-SDCARD Wizards addon. It kept giving me errors and wouldn't backup my kodi. Finally it crashed my Kodi so I unistalled Kodi, re-installed it, and tried to run it but it started to crash everytime I would attempt to start it.

Any sugestions?

Sounds as if you have a problem with the USB-SDCARD Wizards addon. Why do you need to back up Kodi could you not use Time Machine if you need to back up.The crash report means nothing to me, not that technical sorry although it seem like a lib (library) clash. I has to something you changed after using Kodi, look at what you used or downloaded before this happened.

The only thing I changed was that I installed the USB-SDCARD Wizard. I tried backing up Kodi but the addon would not complete the backup process and it would give me an error message. Eventually it caused Kodi to crash. I am thinking that perhaps the database error shown in the crash report may be referring to the MAC OS database itself.

I am going to re-install my MAC OS and attempt to run Kodi again to se what happens.
