NFS Not Working on iPad
#1
Hi,

I have been able to install Kodi 15.2 from the stable deb builds on my iPad, which runs the latest version of iOS. However, when I attempt to add a video source and click on the NFS option, nothing happens. SMB seems to work, although I have no SMB servers setup so I can't say for sure, but Kodi does try and search for one. When NFS is selected tho, Kodi does nothing. So is this a known issue?

Anyone else not seen this issue? Manually typing in the nfs source locks up Kodi.

Bump. So how does everyone access their media libraries if not through nfs or samba protocols? Do you side load it?

Thank you for conforming it's not a normal issue. My previous debug log expired, but here is the what I see when trying to open a dialog to browse NFS shares:

Here is the whole log again: http://goo.gl/FxtX5T

It's not that helpful as to what the issue is, so I was hoping the experts here could shed some light on what may be causing the problem

thx

Which stable build of 15.2 does everyone use? I see that there are 2 versions listed here: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/apt/ios/deb/

Are you able to "Add network location" and enter your NFS ip?

Does this one work for you? (adding the nfs source manually as nfs://<ip>/<exportname>):

I can manually type in the nfs path, but after commiting the change, KODI 15.2 will lock up. So it's as if NFS support is missing.

Yes, that build works as expected. I was able to browse my NFS shares correctly. Do you have any ideas as to why 15.2 is giving an issue? I'd really like to get that version working, in order to hook it up to mysql.

i have no solution yet - the testbuild works because i use newer apple build tools (just a guess - verification of that assumption is time consuming)
