I am thinking about buying a QNAP TS-251 but have some reservations. The TS-251 uses Kodi as the video/Audio player.
I record most of my TV and convert it to H.264 (MP4) and watch the recordings via the USB port on a Samsung player. The Samsung is great for fast forwarding or rewinding through the adds (it quicker to skip the adds than edit them out). I use a Logitech Harmony 650 remote that does a good job of controlling my other recorders and TV.
My concern is:
1) can the QNAP TS-251, with Kodi skip through the adds? (fast forwarding or rewinding)
2) would the Logitech Harmony 650 remote work with Kodi/QNAP TS-251?
