Hey Guys,
Anyone getting a this error: UNABLE TO CREATE APPLICATION : EXITING

It's been working fine all week. Started it up a few minutes ago, and got that error. Didn't change anything, didn't update anything. I tried cleaning temp, tried reinstalling a few times, no luck.

I'm running win 8.1, kodi Isengard 15.2

Any thoughts, ideas, solutions.

Don't know if it's the same issue but I had that problem when I upgrader from Win7 and was running in portable mode. Starting from Win8.1, the "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)" folders are read-only. So running Kodi in portable mode in these folders will give out this error.

I resintalled in c:\Kodi and everything works fine.

Try deleting the guisettings.xml in userdata, may be corrupt.

(Back-up file before deleting)

Press win key + R key;
%appdata%\Kodi\userdata\
Press OK
