100% CPU thread during video playback
#1
Since Isengard (and with Jarvis beta too), i have one or two CPU thread who is at 100 % during a part of the playback of a HD video. With DXVA, i have no sound when the thread is at 100%; i have to pause the video and wait until the CPU is at 1- 2 % to resume the video. With no DXVA, i have no sound and the image is pixelated when the thread is at 100%; i have to pause the video and wait until the CPU is at 1- 2 % to resume the video.

My OS : Windows 10 (it was the same with Windows 8.1)
My CPU: Core i7-920
My GPU: Radeon hd 5770

For starters the log file is not a proper debug log, you have to turn it on in settings and try to use a public pastebin, such as http://xbmclogs.com/ who knows what's in a download.

My OS : Windows 7
My CPU: Core i7-860
My GPU: Radeon hd 5770

My CPU cores are barely moving (2% for a 1080p file), no issues with hardware acceleration and as you can see I'm using the same gfx card you have. On a taxing file like 'Kill-a-Sample', It'll be a bit more, and might hit 30% with software rendering. 4K seems good too.

Looking over your log, show a pack of errors from add-on etc... anyone of which can cause the whole house to collapse. The debug log will tell you more, but I'd suggest either an entire clean install, or at minimum freshen up the add-ons.

While you're having issues, I suggest using Kodi 15.2 stable.

So i did a few more test. First, i made an entire clean install. Secondly, i played the Kill-a-Sample file and i didn't have a problem. Which mean that i probably don't have problem with local file, because i still have the problem with Noco and Crunchyroll addon. And, those addon use http.

Looks like a network issue, not a Kodi issue.

You have to turn on debugging it will show you more. Log file/Advanced (wiki) For getting proper infos in the logfile, you have to enable debug logging in "system settings" -> "system" -> "debug logging" -> "enable deug logging"
