I currently have a Fire TV that plays media from my network drive. Most of my media is 1080p and plays fine. The only annoyance with FTV1 is that it can't play Hi10. I recently upgraded from a 720p TV to a 4k TV.
Should I also upgrade my FireTV? Is the FTV2 any good? If I play 1080p files, will it upscale nicely to 4k? Does it support Hi10?

Interesting. Are there any sub-$100 boxes that can play 4k/1080@hi10 fine?
