After leaving my server idle for several hours, when I return to play music, I find that kodi is no longer running. It comes back after a reboot. Not sure what causes the crash or how long it takes for it to happen.

Plese upload the crashlog - which will be found in your home directy if kodi crashes.

I know what you mean; I have seen crash logs in that directory before, but there are none now.
