[Ubuntu Mate 15.04] kodi-bin issue
#1
Running Ubuntu Mate 15.04 on a Banana PI Pro and trying to install Kobi but somehow it fails.
Just started working with Linux so not sure what the problem is, followed the guide on the kodi wiki but no luck.
Searched several forums but couldn't get it to work

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
kodi : Depends: kodi-bin (>= 2:15.2~git20151019.1039-final-0vivid) but it is not installable
Depends: kodi-bin (< 2:15.2~git20151019.1039-final-0vivid.1~) but it is not installable
Depends: libshairplay0 but it is not installable
Depends: libcec3 but it is not installable
Recommends: libvdpau1 but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: libva-intel-vaapi-driver but it is not installable

randolf@wf-laptop:~$ sudo apt-get install kodi-bin

Package kodi-bin is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

Thanks for your quick reply. Are there any plans to support it in the future?

No, sorry, There are way too many different ARM socs that all need different build options, so there is no way for us to support them all.
We have to rely on distros specializing on the popular SOCs
