I just built a new WMC computer. Normally I would have used one of the backup and restore utilities to migrate which shows WMC is set up to record and the recording history (so that WMC correctly knows what it has recorded in the past). Those utilities don't seem to be available any more.

Would anyone have a copy of anyone of the utilities that accomplish that or knwo how to do it manually. There were several freeware/shareware options at one point in time.

Tried using the manual procedures in the green button forum. No Luck. Complains that it can't find or can't open the recordings folder.

Did find a tool that does what I needed.

THis is definitely something to keep around as long as you are using WMC/ServerWMC

Now off to get the commercial skip configured. That should be the last thing before I can declare this migration DONE!
