I'm a student researching Kodi
#1
Hello!

I am a student at Indiana University, who is enrolled in a course on open source software. Part of my final is to somehow contribute to the community of a software which I researched - and I researched Kodi. Unfortunately, this community seems rather mature, with a lot of active members constantly contributing and helping Kodi evolve. This is great, but it means for my final I haven't much to do! Rather, I'm just going to ask a question -

I don't like the original interface of Kodi, it's my only problem with it. There are plenty of skins out there, but I need a 2-D interface or else I get migraines, particularly from animations. Are there any skins you guys would recommend for this? what about beginner tips for making my own skins?

Thank you in advance, I hope this doesn't mess with the forum at all! if this is deleted I totally understand!

About Simple Skins and skinning, you can start with Conq skin by Hitcher, and read this thread: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=159476
It is the easiest skin to start from imo.

I don't have any background in coding, just in graphic design.
