I was wondering if it were possible for ServerWMC to group recordings into sub groups within a grouping folder?

For example, if I leave "Group sports recordings in folder"" unchecked I get separate folders for each type of sporting event (i.e. IndyCar, Formula One, College Football, College Basketball, etc). However, if I check that box, all of those recordings simply get dumped into a folder called Sports and its very messy having a large number of recordings.

It would be nice, if we could group those sporting events according to their type, but then group those folders under a single folder called Sports. Likewise, the same for TV Shows. Have a main folder called TV Shows, and then a sub folder for each series. I think this would help clean up the recordings folder and make things much more organized.

I agree. Unfortunately kodi's pvr interface only allows one level of hierarchy, so its not possible for us to implement folders-in-folders by changing our code - you have to get the kodi team to add this feature first.

Well.... I guess I just assumed it, since you only have a single field in each recording object to specify the directory name. Are you thinking you can specify multiple levels in this single string? Like by using a '\' as a delimiter?
