Hey guys,
I dont know if anyone else has every played the old bbs door games such as The Pit or Solar realms elite but i think it would be cool if some of the mulitplayer games could be ported to python. It could use xbmcgui for all the controls as a lot of these games were menu driven w/ virtual keyboard for special cases. It could also use web services to upload user data to mysql back end. It doesnt have to be just bbs door games but any games that give a "multi player" sence. I think online score posting is a step in the right direction. Im sure someone could donate some web space for us to set up a couple web services because there is no way that this could be a strain on any type of server. Drug Wars w/ online score posting would be the easiest example that im talking about. More complicated would be the PIT and solar realms elite. Many things can be done with this. Any opinions?
