Interface for reduced mobility users
#1
I have recently started volunteering at a hospital that provides long-term care. A number of patients are very limited in the movements that they can make.

Are there already interfaces for Kodi that allow for one-touch access or similar, so that these patients can take control of their media playback?

Really would depend on the limitations, Kodi has touch interfaces, and kiosk modes to make the interface pretty simple and stable, but you would need some sort of software overlay that would replace the input device to assist choices. Perhaps voice, I think I remember someone set up a voice operated system you might have to search a bit. Kodi has an add-on that will do voice reading and this discussion for blind people might open a few ideas, the open sourced nature of Kodi, would allow relatively easy modifications.

I suspect you will need some sort of inventive/imaginative leap to either voice or some eye moment monitor and take it from that point.
