Does your skin trigger the artwork downloader script when a source refresh is detected? I'm trying to track down a corner case that involves Artwork Downloader, your skin and Emby that results in Artwork Downloader being triggered constantly. I have it set to not download anything and to run silently, but it still pops up constantly telling me that it downloaded zero items.

My current hypothesis is that your skin triggers the AD script every time a source refresh is detected, the Emby addon is constantly updating the source by design, which results in a vicious cycle of source refresh --> AD script--> Emby addon update (due to new images) --> source refresh-->AD Script--> and on and on, etc.

I did a test only changing the skin and the logs are posted here: http://pastebin.com/kvmE4NN4

• Initially loaded confluence, triggered playback of movie (line 226 in logs)
  
• Stopped playback after 1 minute, no Artwork Downloader notification
  
• Changed to FTV skin
  
• Started playback of same movie, AD notification immediately pops up (line 332, AD triggered at 383))
  
• Stop playback after 1 minute, AD notification appears again. (line 431)
  

Is there any way for me to fix this via config? Or do I need to ask the Emby Devs for something different?

That looks awesome, especially for recently added... the only problem I see is that for those of us running this on an actual firetv, it's getting harder and harder to tell if on the FTV home screen or the Kodi home screen. LOL.

Colour-Support would be an option to distinguish between the FireTV-Original-UI and Kodi, but I am repeating me...

No color option. A lot of the orange elements are static textures and I don't want to dye them.

For the smartlist issue: Try to add a "sort by" rule.

In Movies:
Missing: Biography, Disaster, Film Noir, Foreign, Holiday, Indie, Short, Sport, Sports Film,
Duplicates: Music = Musical, Sci-Fi=Science Fiction, Suspense=Thriller

In TV
Missing: Mini-Series, News, Series, Special Interest, Sport
Duplicates: Science Fiction=Science-Fiction, Suspense=Thriller

Honestly, I think the duplicate categories should be collapsed into one category though I am not sure that's the role of a skin to do so.

Re the smart playlist mismatch:
I removed the group=none as Hitcher suggested. The order of the movies in the widget on the Movie screen is still different from the smart playlist screen. There already is an order direction in the smart playlist, which I believe is how playlists are sorted.

I suggest you to take care of you genres at first. Your scraper doesn't really take care of the namings and adds duplicates. I use the Tiny Media Manager and won't let Kodi scrap the movies by itself.
You can easly add your own categorie images now. Go to your skin folder -> Extras -> Genres. Just place the missing ones in there.

Example:
-> "Mini-Series" is missing
-> Place 3 different posters in extras/genres/shows/
-> Naming "mini-series1.jpg", "mini-series2.jpg", "mini-series3.jpg"
