Remove text between brackets from subtitles for deaf and hearing impaired
#1
I'm posting this request, because it would make my experience with Kodi a lot easier. I don't know if this is something other people might want, but I would appreciate it a lot. I watch movies in their native language, so mostly English. My English is pretty good, but some dialects or fast dialogue I cannot follow. However, I don't like subtitles in my native language, Dutch. So most of the time I choose English subtitles.
The English subtitles on Dutch blurays however, are often for the deaf and hearing impaired. The added information like (Birds chirping) or [Man yelling] is very annoying. I would like a way to be able to remove most of these extra lines (which are almost always between brackets) on the fly. This would save me the extra work of demuxing the subtitles from the MKV, editing them and remuxing everything.
Would this be possible within Kodi?
