Hi,
it would be nice, if the videodb would support temporary entries created by python scripts so information about streams or other video content could be displayed as normal videodb details while playing.
What do you think?

how do i fill the info tag? thought python only supports get methods actually..

i'm not entirely sure. but i imagine you pass a cfileitem kinda of entity from python to the players?
anyways, if not supported yell at nuka and/or donno :p

if you pass a streamurl or a file to the player it only shows the passed item name. maybe the player could use the listitem entrys (label, label2, iconimage..) ?!

yes, obviously it would be a necessity to pass by item and not by url. i dont know how these api's work.
