Dear DanTheMan, plz can you guide me which one is 16.1 Jarvis final/stable version for Apple tv 4 here "The latest builds of Kodi for tvOS are currently here"
as i guess its launched in April 2016....once i downloaded and added in APTV 4 its beta version for kodi 17.
found this file ...is it the final / stable version for kodi?

There is no final / stable version for Apple TV 4 available yet... there may be an official release once Kodi 17 is released but maybe not... as it is right now the Apple TV version has been following the current development code with additions specific to the Apple TV added on
kodi-2015-12-30-f8daf8c-yab-tvos.deb is actually quite old...
the newest (as of 5/23/2016) is actually kodi-20160522-5e33e2b-yab-tvos.deb
The current test builds can be found at http://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/darwin/tvos/

There is no build of Kodi 16.1 available for the Apple TV 4... any website advertising a download of Kodi 16.1 for the Apple TV 4 is lying or misinformed
If you want Kodi 16.1 for database compatibility I would have to refer you to MrMC

No, 16.1 is the newest stable and is not available for Apple TV 4
Depending on how you use Kodi though (addons) I've had good luck with most of the test builds (including the latest)

Will the TVOS version included in the official alpha release of v17 kodi? Now with the changes from apple everyone without dev account must resign the kodi app every week and a weekly build would make sense.

yep - thats why i hesitate to make atv4 an official supported platform for kodi - its just way to stupid as it is now.
